Product and Price Data
The Product and Price data available through BYOBI provides detailed information about the products available within the Marketplace, including product descriptions, supplier and manufacturer information, pricing, product classifications, pack sizes, units of measure and relevant product attributes.
The primary table for this data is DIM_PURCHASING_PRODUCT_AND_PRICE. Each record represents product and price information associated with a supplier and buyer, and can be used to analyse and report on the products available within the Marketplace.
Product status and visibility
The DIM_PURCHASING_PRODUCT_AND_PRICE table contains the product information but does not provide the buyer-specific item visibility/status.
To determine the status of an item for a particular buyer, you should join DIM_PURCHASING_PRODUCT_AND_PRICE to DIM_PURCHASING_BUYER_BU_ITEM_LEVEL_VISIBILITY.
The tables can be joined using ITEM_ID, which is the common joining key:
The visibility table should therefore be used when you need to understand whether an individual item is visible, hidden or has another buyer-specific status.

Example: If you want to report on all products supplied by a particular supplier and show whether each product is currently visible to a buyer, use DIM_PURCHASING_PRODUCT_AND_PRICE as the product dataset and join to DIM_PURCHASING_BUYER_BU_ITEM_LEVEL_VISIBILITY using ITEM_ID.
