Supplier: Multi Factor Authentication when logging in

Gary Leach Updated by Gary Leach

MFA for your Purchasing account

If you login directly to Purchasing (formerly Marketplace) you will be required to set up and use Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) via either a smartphone app or a browser extension as part of the login process.

When MFA has been enabled on your account, after entering your username and password as normal, the following screen will appear:

Mobile App: If you don't have an authenticator app installed on your smartphone, please download and install one in line with the instructions on screen. Then follow the on-screen instructions to setup your account.

OR

Browser Extension: If you choose to use a browser extension instead of a smartphone app then click the option 'can't scan the bar code', and the following screen will appear. Add your chosen browser extension to your browser and follow the on-screen instructions:

Any authenticator app or browser extension can be used
Further guidance on how to download a browser extension is covered here.

Once set up, on each subsequent login you will need to use the app or extension to obtain your One Time Passcode to login securely:

What if I lose my setup in my authenticator app?

If you cannot generate a passcode in the app/extension having previously set it up, you will need to request a reset of you MFA passcodes for the system.

After a reset you will be required to set up the account in the app/extension again as per the original process.

How do I request a reset?

Please contact our Customer Support Team either by raising a case on the Customer Portal here, or by emailing them at marketplace.support@oneadvanced.com.

If you require access to the Customer Portal or wish to know more about its benefits, please register here.
